I bought this processor back in 2003 when it was the 'king' of the bang for your buck CPUs. It's served me reliably ever since. In fact I'm writing this review on that same system. It performed well then, and it's still performing well today. If you can get one of these cheap in a classified add or something, I'd jump all over the chance.

I have this CPU for two years now and I can say that it is very reliable. It continues to perform very well and can be overclocked to 2800+ speeds without any major issues. Great product.

Got this about 3 mouths ago, works great and preforms good for what I use it for. For about $100 I would go with a AMD ATHLON 64. This CPU runs DOOM3 good at low-medium settings at great FPS!

Wow! This thing will not die! My brother accidentally over volted this thing to 2.04 and the temp shot up to 104 degrees celcius. When I realized what was wrong I unplugged the over volt and cooled the core down. I tested the cpu for another 26 hours and it didn't have any problems at all. My temp is up a bit, but I'm amazed at how it stood up to such abuse. Still, go 64-bit.
