I am using many of Corsair’s other, albeit higher end, power supplies in different machines in the house and office and have been very happy with their performance. These include several from their HX, TX and newer AX series so I am hoping that the “lowly” CX series lives up to it’s bigger siblings

This is a simple basic power supply that will easily power HTPC or any generic home system. The price is good, fairly quiet. I used it for a HTPC build in a mATX case, just wished it was partially modular so I can remove all the unused PCIE, molex, and sata connectors.

Having owned a corsair power supply for 5 years and it's still running really well. The corsair power supplys are one of the best. The warranty is a very nice as well(3 years). This is why i bought another corsair psu for a recent budget build. Great product!

Very good quality replacement for most of the computers out there. Using it on my HTPC and I enjoy the silent PSU. Buyed it on sale can't go wrong. Include everything in the box(screw and tie-rap for cable management).
Great budget power supply- does it's job and it's always safer to go with a brand name power supply even for everyday tasks. Bought 2 more since the original for other budget builds.

Defective software, video games or DVDs

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
