Purchased these for customers laptops as replacements for dead drives. Great value for the money, and on sale they are the same price as 5400rpm drives, which doesn't hurt.

My ThinkPad X220 came with one of these preinstalled, and that's been reliable for a year and a half now, and I wanted to get something for a USB 3.0 enclosure - this drive was a great fit - there's really no disadvantages with the 7200rpm spindle speed compared to the 5400rpm drives, but you get a much quicker drive.
