Do what suppose to do. Burning good. LG always do good burner and the price still very good. Better then Samsung. You can buy it, ill recommand. I buy LG burner seems many years and never have prob with.

I wanted a Light Scribe enabled DVD burner for my new computer, and this unit fit the bill. It's got LG's usual high build quality, works quickly, and is inexpensive to buy. I realise that I'm behind the curve by not going with a Blu-Ray, but I the work I do with my machine doesn't make such a purchase essential. At least not yet . . .

I have never had an issue with an LG DVD drive and this one is no exception. It is worth a few extra dollars to upgrade to an LG rather than using some discount brand or Samsung.

cheap and does what its suppose to , reads and writes disks quickly.quietly for a disc drive, bought to upgrade a pc from pata to sata, for the price why not , if even just to get rid of the larger pata ide cable. good stuff!
