If you have a Desktop PC this is a great piece of hard ware that works excellent as an OS SSD. I have the OS and some light programs that you use everyday that see the increase in performance on this drive with Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit installed on it, still have 27.8 GB left.

Boy is this thing fast, I wish i had gotten one of these from the start so i could have had my games installed on this already. Definitely recommend getting this for those who know how to install it

When I got the drive the seal was broken... SMART shows the drive hasn't been used, however the lifetime reading for a brand new drive has already been less than 100%. Corsair claims the SMART reading is wrong. (There is a thread in their forum.)
These things are quick. This is the biggest overall performance improvement i could've gotten for my system and let me tell you it is noticeable

Super fast boot times. Has cut load times in games and photo processing time to nearly nothing in my rig. A perfect boot drive pairing with windows 7 in a desktop with a roomy storage drive. Might be small for enthusiast notebooks but would be great for netbooks. Installation was a breeze with the included 3.5 inch bracket.

OCZ failures drove me to this brand. Vertex 1's are prone to fail premature. This one 2, Keep a back up of your work, be safe. Failure can happen in a blink. Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
