Always had LG burners for a couple of years and still another one that works perfectly for me. It come with a basic verion of Nero but it do the job.

I've been using LG burners for years and honestly i prefer them over any other brand. I've tried ricoh, hp, benq, but the one that seems to work the best is LG. Even if this is $5 or $10 more than the other branded burners i'd recommend this just because it seems to be built with quality.

Bought this as a low cost option for a system. Nothing really stands out about it; it's a very solid drive that does what it's supposed to do. Seek times are average, no issues with burning dvds or cds.

I bought this for my friend, when his DVD drive stopped working and he wanted to a lightscribe writer. So far it's still working 100%, no problems, can't go wrong. Would I buy this for myself? No, a bit pricey compared to others.

Been using this for a couple of weeks now and no major issue with it. It's fairly quiet and could read all my previous backup picture/video dvd without issues.
This is something that everyone needs in their computer, and really from one drive to another, I have not noticed much of a difference in terms of speed of write/read and noise.
this drive is very nice to use, it handles nicely, no reading errors, and same with burning. no problems with the drive at all, i highly recommend this drive to anyone building a discount system.
