I bought this netbook about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I use to lug around an old Toshiba Satellite, which would weigh down my backpack considerably. The Acer Aspire One barely adds more weight than say, throwing in an extra book in my bag.

This is a truly great laptop. I would recommend it for every student attending either Post Secondary or High School. I used to have a 18" laptop and carrying that thing around was such a hassle. Now with this laptop, I am free to go anywhere. For all female buyers, it fits in your purse too!

Awesome laptop! It is important to keep in mind that this laptop/netbook was designed for portability. As such, it would be unfair to compare it to regular laptops with much faster processors and larger screens. For its intended purpose (email checking, simple word processing, powerpoint presentations), it is perfectly adequate.

I own this computer for about 2 weeks. First it was awesome but after few days, the screen size was realy an issue. I recommand this computer has a "second" laptop computer due to the screen size.

Had this for about a month, bought it mainly for school using (taking notes, word processing, etc.) but found it can do a great deal more. At about 2.5lbs, this is barely a burden to carry around, and it comes in a nice pleathery slipcase. Battery life is godly, everyone else is always complaining about how they have to recharge in between classes but a single full charge gets me through 1-2 days at school. I personally got accustomed to the keyboard within a couple hours, so not a problem for me. Without a doubt, best investment I've made yet.
