Fan is noisier than expected after reading many reviews stating how 'quiet' it was. It's not terribly noisy, but I guess I was expecting something whisper quiet. With my old fan, you couldn't tell it was on; this one, I can definitely hear it.

This is a great modular PSU for the price, it's pretty much identical to the Corsair VX450W. It does have 2 PCIE connectors, one with 8 pins, the other with 6 pins so it could power any single GPU system without any hitch. It does squeal a bit, tho I'm getting used to that, I'd guess it's a characteristic of Seasonics PSUS because I've had some Corsairs and PC Power & Cooler Silencers make the same noise.

Easily the best power supply unit I have used thus far, and I have used Corsair 520HX and Enermax's Liberty line. Modular braided cables give excellent value. What's best is the excellent power characteristics, just check out the reviews online. Quiet as well for a bonus.

Thsi is the nicest power supply I ever have purchased. I feel it is nicer than the Power Supply I have in my main computer and that was double the price. It is very quiet ( I use it in a media center PC and it is hard to hear if the PC is even on.

Switching my power supplies over to Seasonic and Corsair (by Seasonic) builds. This one showed up at a great price in a surprise special. Find that these braided cables are easier to route than the flat ones that Corsair used in the 520HX and 620HX series.

Great modular power supply for a budget gaming set-up. Cables are nicely wrapped and the power supply runs very cool with almost no perceptible noise. With only 500W, it won't power the high-end SLI or CF set-ups.
