This Power supply looks to be a great buy if you can get it on sale plus with the OCZ Warranty then another great reason to choose this. Compared both this and my friends Seagate PS priced the same with minimal diff. Great buy and look to purchase OCZ again.

I have to agree with superninja that more options with cables would be great. Having said that, its quiet and reliable and I just installed it and forgot about it: for the price this PSU does everything a power supply is supposed to do.
I have the 600W version (OCZ600SXS). So far no problems, when it's on sale, it's a great value. Very solid, efficient and silent. It can handle most low- to mid-range systems. I wish it was modular though, and it doesn't really compare to some of the higher end stuff, but for the price it's a good value and you won't be displeased.

I used the 400w/500w/600w stealthxstream psu which are good value when on sale but wouldn't put these past or above the same wattage of the better rated brands out there. It's a non issue for me but I found among the three wattage models that the on/off rocker switch at the back of the 500w lights up and the other two models don't and the fan sound and feels to spin a little faster (hand behind grille) than the other two models. The cable lengths are a bit too short to run behind the motherboard when positioned in a bottom mount case (check OCZ website for cable lengths).

Got another one for a friend on a sale for relatively cheap recently. I know that OCZ is not the best brand for a PS, but mine had powered my server for 1 year consecutively just fine.

Good value not at full price. Casual gamers or more than average users should be satisfied with this PSU to replace the generic one. I bought this 500W to make sure my video card had enough power to work with though it wasn't enough to also charge my PS3 controller, oh well. The OCZ rebate was easy for me, some on the forums did not think so however.

Good PS, it fits very well with the colour of my case and is visually appealing and quiet. I have no issue with it. I would buy it again and I would certainly recommend it to other people.

I got this PSU on sale for $16, and for this price, I like it. However, I would NOT pay full price for this. It is sleeved, but the cables are too short to be able to do any nice cable management. In conclusion, it does its job or being a cheap power supply for a low standard gaming rig or less.

Bought this PSU to use as a spare and have used it for client computers that have had their cheap generic psu's go on them. This make for a great upgrade to any cheap computer that came with a general generic PSU.
