Superior Sequential Read and Write Speeds
The first key to real performance is sequential read and write speeds. You’ll feel the speed when you’re loading and saving large files. Solid-state drives store files in contiguous blocks of memory, so you’ll get nearly instantaneous response when you click that “Load” or “Save” button.
Excellent Random Write Performance
Fast random write speeds are also critical to performance you’ll notice on a daily basis. If you’re running multiple applications at once, odds are that they’re writing small bits of data to the drive with regularity. Very easy to install. Windows 7 installation was fast and easy. Loads OS in about 18 seconds (slower than W8), Internet Explorer in 3/4 second and Windows explorer in 1/2 second. No waste of time here. Still have 127 GB of free space for programs and data which I will access at high speed. I had 138 updates to install from Windows Update, which took longer than installing windows 7 itselfe. Let's see how it will fare over the long run. For now, I am very pleased.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
