Thinking of buying another one and running it at raid 0 just because I'm curious if windows 8 can boot any faster than it already is! Best value I've seen! What you've probably heard on the internet is true, this is the best SSD you can get!

This is a great upgrade for whoever hasn't had experience with an ssd. The difference in read speeds are exceptional compared to a HDD. Get this if you are in need of a boot drive and do not intend to write on the ssd as much. Opt for a performance drive or higher capacity if you intend to use this as a secondary storage device

Picked up this SSD during a recent sale, to use as an OS drive in my home office PC. A much-needed upgrade! Windows boots incredibly fast now, and read/write is so quick compared to a regular data drive. The SSD worked great right out of the box, no problem getting it formatted and set up. Great budget/starter SDD if you can snag one during a sale.

I use this SSD with linux Ubuntu 12.10. It run really fast and stable so far. I had problems when installing Ubuntu 12.04 lts. If you want to use linux, your better to install the lastest release if you want it to support your new SSD. I've tested Ubuntu 12.10, Manjaro 0.8.4 (Arch linux based), and it is perfect. I did not try Windows 7, but it should work very well. As expected.
