This is a great video card. Very high in the 'best bang for the buck' category. I bought for 179 during the boxing day sale, and it came with Borderlands 2 free. Hard to beat that value. My budget was around 200, and I didn't want to replace my power supply, so this card was basically made to order for me. The card I was replacing was the legendary 8800 GT 512 meg. I'm very happy with the purchase.
I got that card (an open box) and it was in perfect condition. That card support up to 4 monitors and it really do, I'm using it in Ubuntu 12.04 with 4 monitors at the moment. In Windows, it works as well. It score 7,9 in Windows 8. In Linux it works with the driver 310.19 and the ubuntu 3D works with twinview.
This card is definetly not ment for an over-zealous gamer, but games like Skyrim can be maxed/put on ultra setting when not running any hi-resolution mods. Personally, I was looking for three aspects in a video card:
