I don't have USB 3.0 to test this stick, but it works great as any other USB for a 2.0 stick. I use it in place of burned DVDs for installations onto my netbook (for example operating systems).
I also use it to store video files. Great buy and of course very portable.

Bought this to store the backup image for my laptop on it. It's got glacial read/write speeds, but it does the job well. Overall, if I had to buy storage, I'd probably forgo the USB key and just buy SD cards.
