Never ever had a flash memory card or stick fail until now......Looks like I'm not the only one based on the other reviews. Very unsatisfactory experience over all. Too bad, it seemed great while it lasted.

I had two of these, the first was dead on arrival. NCIX replaced it. I used it twice and left it alone unfortunately that took it over the 30 days warranty when it failed again.
Bought 2 on sale for $16.99 each. One of them still works, the other conked out on me after only using a half a dozen times. Plugged it in one day and nothing happened, no blinking light and windows did not recognize it.
Got it free as part of the WD drive promotion, now I know why. Failed on first use copying over contents from another drive and became read-only. Cannot format from linux or windows and cannot wipe or delete files.
Do not buy this unit. No USB drive should completely fail just a little over 30 days of normal use. My data is gone there is not much hope if getting it back. There is a high failure rate of this drive after I read the forums on the Corsair website. Buyer beware! I don't think I am getting a replacement from NCIX.

I got this as a free gift when I bought my WD portable hard drive. It quits after 7 days - LED keep blinking and not recognised by WINDOW 7. I only used it about 4 times. It is a bad product - just check the Corsair support forum about this. Don't buy this!!!

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
