Didn't have many options when I was buying a board to overclock my i7 Ivy Bridge so it was really between this one and two others. I chose this one over its competitors in part due to the sale/MIR (they have he standard 1 month over ASrock which has 2 weeks) and because Gigabyte hasn't given me any problems all these years.
Overclocked my i7 really well with no trouble and have no regrets about my purchase whatsoever.

Avec les 8 connecteur SATA j'ai pu installé 5 disque durs, un graveur Bluray et un SSD et plus d'avoir un connecteur de libre pour une bracket port E-Sata. Un très bon achat à recommander.
Bought this on sale and for an i5-3570k CPU. Works darn well and have not had any issues with it so far. Bios is the new 3D Bios and is well laid out. Although I have not overclocked it yet, I might in the future and wanted a board that could handle it easily. I had a Gigabyte board before and it gave me absolutely no problems and this one looks like it might be the same.
After much research, my choices were narrowed down to this or an equivalent Asrock board. The latter was better looking, but I've owned a Gigabyte board once before and was very happy with it so I figured I'd choose this one. So far I'm pleased with it. Haven't had an problems and overclocking went fine. I've read some people have trouble with the VIA USB 3.0 and/or Atheros GbE LAN, but I haven't encountered either of those issues. The only problem I did encounter was that the Intel RAID boot ROM doesn't like exFat. It will freeze up and not boot from any device type unless the offending array is destroyed first. NTFS works fine though. One thing I really like on Gigabyte boards is the dual BIOS feature. It's saved my hide on more than one occasion. Had no trouble overclocking my i7 3770K with this board, so no regrets thus far.
