The card is extremely cheap compared to alternatives when you get a 10 dollar rebate and with a price match. The card was overkill for what I needed but it gets the job done at an affordable price.

This card is great for any home theater pc setup, While the 1G of vram is a little overboard, it doesn't hurt. I am able to play 1080p content (youtube, blueray, mkv etc) without any stuttering from the video card. The fan is very quiet, inaudible really. even when fully taxed, it doesn't get very hot and is still silent.
The HDMI output is a must and works perfectly with my HDTV.

I bought this card and it had the known issue of white lines across the screen. I update d the bios and that fixed the lines but now I get Blue Artifacts all over the screen.
Bios update isn't automatic. You have to download a program to do it. It's obvious the reason this card is so cheap is because it has a high defect rate.

the card does the job to surf the internet but dont expect to pay big games at high settings very often... the card is very slow and give me a windows rating of about 4. otherwise the price is good and the card doesnt take a big power supply or a big case. it is small and no need for power cable to plug it.
personally i got a broken cd with the card and this is not good.

This card is exactly what I needed it for. It is going in a basic desktop so nothing fancy was needed. It actually performs well above what I expected. Video decode is flawless (after BIOS update) and it runs games at much higher settings than I expected out of a $15 card. For the money I couldn't ask for more. Would be great in an HTPC (even comes with a LP bracket).

I purchased this card for my son's desktop. He is able to play World of Warcraft/Minecraft/Runescape with greater that 30 FPS f 1440 x 900. Its good enough for anyone on a budget who does very light gaming. And for $10 I can't complain. 5 Stars.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Currently Gigabyte accepts end users’ requests on RMA service. Motherboards, Video cards, servers and Rackmount server boards carry three years limited warranty.
Warranty Effective On Date of Manufacture
Gigabyte determines warranty based on the manufacture date. The manufacture date can be verified by the serial number found on the product. The first four digits after "SN" determine the year and week of manufacturing date. For example:
"01)04719331729028(21) SN0213030585" represents the 13th week of 2002
RMA Request Procedures and Guidelines
All RMA request forms must be completed in order to obtain a RMA number
RMA request with missing or incorrect serial number(s) may result in a delayed process or a rejection of request
Any model discrepancy for received items may result in a delayed processing timeProducts received with no RMA number may delay processing or refusal (Gigabyte will not be responsible for items received without proper information)
No cross shipping or advanced replacements under any circumstances
Products will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion
Replacements may include new or refurbished products (Replacements will be for the exact or equivalent product)
Average turnaround time will be 2-3 business working weeks upon receipt (applies to quantities not exceeding 20 pieces)
If the information on your request varies from the actual item(s) received, RMA will be based on the actual item(s) received
RMA numbers will be valid for 30 days after issued date
Gigabyte will provide one way freight via UPS or FedEx ground free of charge
For consecutive violation for No Trouble Found (NTF), a testing fee per NTF board or system may apply.
