It is all about the keys and the quality. It has gold-plated mechanical key switches. It is the top of the line most premium keyboard you can get for a Mac. It is fantastic for typing and gaming.
Turns mere typing into a treat for the fingers and ears, speeds typing speeds considerably, amazingly well built, adds keys that are sorely missing from Apple keyboards,provides a two USB 2.0 hub.

Very nice keyboard if you don't mind the "noisy" typing- not good if you have neighbours where you work. The main issue I have is the small printing on the keys and the crappy font used, which make several keys hard to read. I expect the main audience for this are older people like me who long for the old Apple Pro ADB keyboard. That means our eyesight is a bit challenged, so better lettering on the keys would be expected. Very nice to have a proper 2-port usb hub on the RH side, but could have put more on there as there is a dedicated usb cable for that (2 usb cables to plug in, one for the kbd, one for the hub).
