I need better lighting in my living room. As lighting is bad here at night. With one ceiling light in dining room to light up 24'x11' of Dining/Living space and a corner light.
Watching movies in the dark with uneven lighting is just bad.

Works great and is only worth to get if you watch TV in the dark. The first thing I noticed when I used the bias lighting was how much darker the blacks looked with it on. Some people say it also helps the color, but I didn't really notice. I also like the glow it provides in the room, just enough light in the room that you don't trip over anything. Some people also claim it helps with eye strain, even without the bias lighting I never had that problem so I can't comment. Why not to go out an buy a lamp and bulb to put behind your TV, you could but these lights are set to 6500k the color temp that is used for movies and TV programing. They also don't get hot since they are LED.
