GIGABYTE EZ Smart Response
The GIGABYTE EZ Smart Response utility is a simple application that allows users to quickly and easily configure their system for Intel® Smart Response Technology. In the past, enabling Intel® Smart Response meant users needed to enter the BIOS in order to configure their system for RAID mode, which then required a complete reinstall of the operating system. Once that processes was complete, users then needed to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Utility as well as configure Intel's Smart Response Technology. GIGABYTE EZ Smart Response does all of this automatically, without users having to perform a complicated install process. This allows them to quickly and effortlessly enjoy a significant boost in system performance.
GIGABYTE EZ Setup

GIGABYTE 7 series motherboards feature GIGABYTE 333 Onboard Acceleration , a range of the latest technologies that are designed help speed up data transfer, including SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology, SATA Revision 3.0 (6Gbps) technology and an unprecedented 3x USB power boost on all USB ports for more power hungry USB devices.
GIGABYTE On/Off Charge
GIGABYTE 7 series motherboards feature ON/OFF Charge, a unique GIGAYTE technology which allows you not only to charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, but also allows you to Quick Charge it. As an added bonus, it can even be charged when your PC is turned off, so even if you forget to plug it into your charger after you've synced up your music, it will be fully charged when you need it. * Due to certain mobile phone limitations, users may need to connect the mobile phone to their PC before the PC enters S4/S5 mode to enable a quick charge from non ON/OFF Charge USB ports. Charging results may vary by model.
LAN Optimizer - Intelligent optimization network management tool
GIGABYTE LAN Optimizer is designed to allow the user to manage different types of network traffic so that data streams such as HD media, web browsing or online gaming can be prioritized, taking precedence over large data downloads that tend to strangle overall network bandwidth.

First of all, there is really nothing special about this board. You get what you paid for: a low-mid budget mb that has SATA3 and USB3. I didnt expect too much anyway. I install a i5 cpu and a pair of Kingston 2x4Gb ram, then ran Prime95 for about 2-3 days without any errors. I didn't try overclocking it since that isnt my purpose nor what this board is built for. I found Gigabyte's website is very simply and easy to locate any BIOS or driver for your board.
Seems to be a good board for a basic Z77. Going to use it as a media server. Only needed the one video slot so the 4x slot is not a big deal but the only thing if using it, you loose 2 1x slots. I guess its not a big deal since you will loose 1 or 2 slots any way with a graphics card. May try to overclock it but didn't buy it for that. Never had a problem with Gigabyte MB.

After trying an ASUS board with the LSI 9750 and not having any luck, I purchased this motherboard. The card worked without any issues. Have purchased Gigabyte boards in the past and will continue to do so.

Caused blatant instability issues when testing the acceptable voltage ranges for a CPU overclock. Would freeze 1-4 seconds after I got into the BIOS (Had to change reset CMOS multiple times). Also believe to be the culprit of random Windows freezes (all peripherals lock up and sound loops)

First, disregard the description given above. As is obvious from the picture, there are not 3 pcie-x16 slots. In fact, there is only one, with the other slot being only x4. Bigger problem if you have a non-graphics pcie card is that it won't work in that x4 slot. System won't boot at all. I have a RAID card that requires minimum x4 pcie slot, and this system won't boot when that is plugged in. Can't believe Gigabyte would release a board that doesn't conform to standards.

Very attractive board - matches my case perfectly. Great functionality, does everything I need it to and overclocks like a charm. Outstanding quality from one of the top brands and for $120 what's not to like?

This is a great board for a budget system. It is very stable and reliable. If you are someone who is not a heavy overclocker, and you want a Z77 motherboard, then this board will fit your needs. I have used this board in two client machines. Both systems are rock stable. It has enough features, including crossfire and USB 3.0, to keep the average person happy. Gigabyte always makes quality gear. You just cant go wrong with their products. I just bought a Gigabyte HD 7870 OC 2GB video card for my own rig a couple days ago. As usual, it is a quality piece of gear.
