Bought this drive when it was on sale at $219. It's a pretty good deal for this capacity. There are faster drives, but did fit into my budget. I've noticed speed improvements immediately after I put it into my ThinkPad T500, so I'm pretty happy with this upgrade.

This drive is a terrible deal at $415. The drive I got is significantly slower than other SSDs I have including vertex 3, vertex 4 and samsung 830. Actually, it's even a bit slower than a vertex 2. That being said, when it comes on sale for $200 it is a great deal to use as a games drive. It is high enough capacity and will help load much faster than a conventional HDD.

The drive works great but don't count on OCZ to come thru with their rebate. No rebate received from OCZ 60 days later, even after paying the extra $$ for the "express service" Multiple calls and e-mails, and still no resolution. Will never buy OCZ product with a rebate again.

Slow as far as SSDs are concerned. Under 200MB/sec both read and write, while all other SATA3 SSDs I have tested from Crucial, Samsung, Kingston, etc get at minimum 270MB/sec write and 470MB/sec read. It is still faster than a 7200rpm platter hard drive, but if you want the speeds you are suppose to get (and are paying for), go with a different drive. Published speeds of this SSD by OCZ are a joke -- you won't get close to them.

replaced agility 2 120gb. cut the boot time by half with a lot more space. I got it at nicx on sale for less than $200 which was slight higher price and my old agility 2 120gb
