It really does work well, but you have to watch the mounting on this thing. It can warp a motherboard. I had to swap motherboards for it to work. If you have the patience, and the time, and mount it perfectly, it is very effective.

Ordered this bad boy for one of my computers. It fits well but after few tweaks inside my computer despite the low profile RAM it takes up a lot of space.
I purchased this to replace the stock Intel HSF for a Core2Duo in my server. I wanted something that could operate passively if required, and in this case, it worked perfectly! My Core2Duo operated at 34'C with the Intel HSF, and with this cooler, I have 28'C, WITHOUT A FAN!
