Another solid asus board, I wasn't too worried about missing the extra features that the Pro and Deluxe versions of the board gave. The overclock features were easy to use and the bios looks nice. Nothing else to really complain about, be sure to update the bios to not run into the issues of the older versions. (the bios flashback makes it very easy to do)

Although price for the x79 chipset motherboards are still pricey, installing was quite easy without much problem. The LGA2011 socket is different to work with. There are too locks, one on each side to lock the CPU. CPU of course is bigger too. Mounting the heatsink is also different. The mounting holes for the backplate are close to the locks pin, you may have to unscrew the screw for the backplate in order to free the locks pin to unlock the CPU. For some reason, just like the Intel nic over the Realtek. Don't know the different anyway.
Hope motherboard manufactures come up a better way for the CPU locks without interfering with the heatsink blackplate screws.
