If you only glanced at the specs of Sandy Bridge E you could be easily forgiven for dismissing it as merely an existing LGA1155 Sandy Bridge CPU that has had two extra cores bolted on plus a more sophisticated memory controller.
However, that wouldn't really be a fair assessment.

Greatest processor I've ever owned. I've been building my own PCs for years and this latest 3930k build is by far the greatest. The processor chews up anything I throw at it.

Picked this up over the holidays for around $480 (very reasonable price). It was an upgrade from my old Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz. The difference was VERY noticeable.
Love this processor its fast and doesn't overheat if you are not over clocking. I don't like the heatsink that come with them always buy a aftermarket one for best results.
