Its a good little webcam for Skype or any chat. The rubber stand can't stay on my 24" LED monitor. For 15$ you cant go wrong if you have budget.

The camera has excellent image quality right out of the box without any adjustments. Detected and installed immediately in Windows and worked flawlessly with a variety of video chats including Skype and Google Talk. Steady without hiccups recording at 720p. This webcam has great image quality. Much better than any other webcam I've owned, but this is the first one I've owned with higher than VGA resolution capability. The added 3rd-party software is also useful for further controlling the webcam's image -- especially for zooming/cropping the image. It comes with many other features that I won't use, that may be attractive and fun for a teenager...
