The Accelero L2 Plus is a cross compatible VGA cooler designed for low end to mid-range graphic cards, same as his predecessor L2 Pro but with a wider compatibility and enhanced RAM and VR cooling. A comprehensive RAM/VR cooling set is also included to improve the cooling performance of RAM/VR.
Cooling Performance
Featuring a 92 mm PWM fan and a cooling capacity of 120 Watts, the Accelero L2 Plus ensures components are performing under ideal temperature. The pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound allows enhanced thermal conductivity from the GPU, thus considerably extending its service life.
Enhanced RAM and VR Cooling
In order to boost the cooling efficiency of RAM and VR, the Accelero L2 Plus comes with the G-1, an electrically non-conductive thermal glue used to affix RAM and VR heatsinks on the VGA board. Unlike generic thermal tapes, the G-1 offers high thermal conductivity with excellent adhesiveness. Moreover, removing the G-1 is extremely easy without leaving any residues.
Virtually Silent
Operated by a low noise impeller enclosed in a patented fan holder to reduce the buzzing sound when the fan is spinning, the Accelero L2 Plus is barely audible even running at full load. To enable minimum noise level at all circumstances, the PWM controller enables the fan to run at the optimal speed according to the load generated by the GPU.
Multi-Compatible*
To accommodate a broad range of models, the Accelero L2 Plus comes with a versatile mounting mechanism and an extensive RAM and VR cooling set consisting of 16 pieces of RAM/VR heatsinks in various sizes. Featuring the CrossFire and SLI compatibility the users benefit from the optimized performance of a multi-VGA setup.

XFX 6870 stock cooler fan died. Looked on Arctic Cooler site and found documents that say this cooler does support the 6870. I purchased two of these for crossfire. Pin connector on Artcic cooler fan is three or four pin, XFX 6870 has two pin connector. I cut the two pin connector off of stock fan and cut the three pin of off the supplied molex adaptor soldered the wires together and it works great as an adaptor. The XFX 6870 uses voltage to control fan speed. I tested fan speed using the Catalyst Control Center and varified fan speed works.

The fan itself was easy to install. My XFX 6870 only had a 2 pin fan header, so I had to use the molex connector. Not a big deal, but now unless I open my case, it runs at 100%. Luckily, it's quiet enough this doesn't matter.
The fan on my Nvidia GTS 450 started making odd noises and my card was overheating (100+ Celsius) when gaming so I purchased the Accelero L2 as a replacement.
I liked the packaging because even though it was that heavy sealed platic that usually requires a chainsaw to open, this one had three little snap-tab things that made opening the package a snap. That's a plus for me.

the fact the cement is long to cure is just a con for those rapid bunnies like me. Fan does a decent job at surclassing the stock fan on my 5670. Temperature HAS gone down a few degrees. Minus the cons, will purchase again anyways.

I purchased this to install on a 6770, the stock cooler was loud and ran very hot. The positives of this cooler is that it was dead silent even on the 12v setting, it also cooled very well on idle settings. It's also cheap when on sale or you pm it.
