happy with the blu-ray drive so far. does what it's supposed to do. Have several ASUS products and never had a problem with them. Would definitely recommend.

definatly the best in its class with lightening fast burning speeds reading speeds and just speed in general haven't run into a problem with it yet and i don't plan on it. it was pretty expensive but i will not need to replace this for a long time in the long run this will save you time in the future and money

Got this on boxing week sale for cheap with the MIR so can't complain too much about it. From the front it looks very nice the black plastic face plate matches the black metal on my C70 case. I read other peoples reviews of this drive so I knew before I bought it that the internal body wasn't black like the picture shows above. Sure with NCIX would fix this so people know what they're getting. So if you can get this cheap it is a good drive.

Bought this for $50 after mail in rebates. I have burned over 50 blu rays with it and only failed once. IMO, 2% failure is good at this price point.

This is the best bang for the buck blu-ray drive you can get. It has near silent operation, and has no problems reading any discs. There is not much else to be said. Asus always offers quality components.

This drive is an excellent purchase. As a burner, it can't be beat with fast read and write speeds. Wish it came with BR disc viewing software, but that's not a big issue. Keep in mind, the unit itself is grey, but the faceplate is black. Primarily using this to burn HD camcorder footage.
