I'm disappointed with this. Just seconds after applying the product, even after cleaning the surface with hydrogen peroxide and allowing it to dry, the end with the cable protruding from it started to peel off. In addition, the light appears to be slightly blue, albeit very unnoticeably. Though it does work to a certain extent, I'd recommend an alternate solution, such as a Bitfenix Alchemy 30cm LED strip.

For some reason it just doesn't stick to my Asus VE248H. I press it down hard and it still comes off eventually, almost as if the weight of the cable tugs it down. I fixed this by just taping the thing onto the monitor but I wish I didn't have to.
been using them for a while now, got 3 kits, 1 for each monitor, it helped more then i was expecting, the 3rd i used extra light on the desk at night when i turn off the other lights in the office.
It creates a soft glow behind the monitor that reduces the contrast around the screen. It actually makes it possible for me to work longer with less fatigue.
Although I haven't had this for a long time, I've used it every night that I've had it so far for late night gaming sessions. Each use lasted several hours and was without any other lights on in the room (typical late night gaming session for me). Even when it was approaching 3AM, my eyes didn't even feel tired. My body did, sure, but not my eyes. Before, my eyes would feel super crappy. So far, I'd say this thing works as advertised. The adhesive that comes applied on the back of the strip is good 3M stuff, but if the surface you're sticking this to is dusty and/or dirty, it'll probably fall off eventually, so make sure to clean that surface. Also, I wish this had an on/off switch. I don't see a point in having this thing on all the time, and I don't want to have to plug and unplug this kind of thing every single time I want to use it.
