Bought this router on sale at $67.99, which I think was a very decent price for this type of router. I'm not a sophisticated user, so can't comment much on the technicals of the router. However, the upgrade from a wireless-G router to this router has marked a significant increase in signal strength around the house. It probably won't be phased out for another 4 to 5 years. I'd recommend this router to those who would want a medium-high end router for below 80 dollars (when on sale).

With my old router, streaming shows over wifi was quite laggy, so I bought this one and the lag is gone! No more buffering during the show. Guess the dual band helps.
Also, bought this when it was 69.99 so it was a very good deal.

Bought this to replace my E3000. Had a lot of great features and is very easy to manage. The only thing I was worried about is that it seems to run a lot hotter than any other router I owned, but its working fine so far.

This router is amazing! In a house with a lot of wifi networks it performs just fine and has no interference. The range is pretty good as well, got almost full bars in 3 chambers away separated by walls (not concrete however). I am not streaming videos on wifi, so can't tell you the results there, but otherwise, the speed test of the wifi internet is very similar (of course a little bit lower like 7.7 Mbps vs. 8.2 Mbps for my case) to the wired connection due to the losses. Bought it on special for 70$, I recommend!

Very good router for the price. It was finicky at first with web pages loading and wireless, but after the f/w and some changes in the settings, it is performing reliably now (for about 3 weeks).
I wanted faster LAN speeds over wireless, but the more reading I did, it became clear I couldn't do it without going dual band. I did some serious research before I purchased. I've been pretty weary of buying Linksys stuff since the days of the WRT54G, but this has won me over.
So far so good. My old router would drop signals all the time. This one is working great so far. Good speed and good signal in a 800 sq ft apartment.
