I like these drives. It's fairly quick and really nice and portable. I like the fact that it comes with a 3 year warranty. I've purchased a few of these without issue

Sustained write speeds of 100-110 MB/s from a Samsung 830 SSD. Considerably faster than my USB 2.0 external that gets about 30 MB/s. Very happy so far.

I bought this External HDD in September 2012. My laptop only had USB 2.0 so I didn't notice immediately that when I connect it in USB 3.0, it just keeps disconnecting, so I can't really use this functionality. Anyway, I kept using it with 2.0, but yesterday, for no reason, it started making the "click of death" sound. Now it won't work anymore and I lost everything I had on it, after only 4 months...
I bought this to extend to my old hard drive, and it works great so far. You also get lots of space to work with, and its pretty cheap as well.
