Been using LG drives for years and they have never let me down. Waited for the blu-ray reader to come down to a reasonable price and chose LG because of its reliability and the fact they can read pretty much any brand of cd/dvd you try.

so i bought because i was just looking to get a cheaper blu-ray player for my mom's computer, and for some reason it isn't compatible or something like that. doesn't show up in devices, and i was having trouble finding support. I ended up selling this one to a friend for like 20 bucks or something, and i saw another person having the same problem on here. I just reminded myself to write this after I went to my friends house to watch a movie on his computer with the blu-ray drive, which works fine with his pc.

I bought this for a guy that needed a HTPC. It's much less expensive than buying a 100-150$ blu-ray dvd player for people who don't use their computer on their tv.

I'm currently building my first computer and was slightly shocked to see this not come with a SATA data connector cord (power connector is obviously on my power supply)The manual says it is supposed to come with one, so i will be mailing NCIX support shortly

I bought this to complement my LG BH12LS38. I was kind of surprised that this LG Blu-Ray drive was not shipped in retail packaging. The included software should be adequate for most users. These drives can read anything I've put their way. Bought a second one of these for a Silverstone Milo 3 HTPC build.
