we see that there are actually situations where a Core i7-900-series chip still makes sense. Frankly, enthusiasts and gamers need not apply. You can get so much value from the Core i5-2500K for $230 that it’s entirely worth waiting for new P67-based motherboards before you buy something new.

Great CPU. Intel's best CPU on the x58 platform. It does everything you want it to, and it overclocks like a dream. It is however very expensive, and rightfully so. Unless you're not trying to build the best x58 machine you possible can, look elsewhere. Otherwise this is it.

at NCIX.com's discretion. All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject
to a 15% restocking fee. No refunds will be issued for blank media,
digital cameras (and accessories), opened software, printers,
printer supplies, paper, projectors (and accessories), appliances,
handhelds, PDAs, notebook computers, special order computers and
special order items.
Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject
to current availability) within 30 days of the Invoice date. Software,
video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
of NCIX.com.

Intel OEM processors are warrantied by NCIX for seven (7) days if not purchased with a system or motherboard. Intel Retail Boxed processors have a full 3 year warranty through Intel.
