new gaming build. Ram is very stable. no issues on first boot or memtests. still testing it's limitations but would highly recommend for a budget system.

When I bought this pair of ram it was $25.02, I price matched it for $23.48, and now it is 21 cents lower than my price match! [humour] I demand for my $0.21 price difference, or atleast my free 1/4 slice of cheese on my burger! [/humour]
I only went with these because they were for a family computer and didn't need the extra 4GB of memory, if you need more, I'd suggest looking for a 2x4GB kit on sale, they can be had for as low as $30 on NCIX Wednesday sales.

I've been using this same memory in an 8 GB kit in my gaming computer so when I was looking for a 4 GB kit for a HTPC this was the obvious choice. I'm using this ram in a Gigabyte Z68 motherboard. It works great and it's about as cheap as you can buy. No need to spend more.

I have these paired with the 2x4GB sticks, and they all work flawlessly at 1600MHz. Havent tried to overclock them yet, but damn they look GOOD ;)

I have had this RAM's older cousin, the 8GB non-X version for about 9 months now and it's amazing. This RAM runs just as well, I haven't had time to test if it runs better. At such an insanely low price, it's well worth the money. As far as I can remember, this RAM is the same price as the non-X version, so you might as well get this. The fins on the heatsink may look really massive but really, they only add 1cm extra.
