Bought it to use with Windows 8, but it is not compatible. I assumed the Win7 drivers would work, but they do not. It doesn't say it works with windows 8, so I can't complain. It only cost 7 bucks, so no big deal.

Currently using this device with a Dualshock 3 (PS3) controller with Motioninjoy drivers, works perfectly. The driver makes it unavailable for other uses, but that is a limitation of the software not this adapter.
it was easy enough to install it and pair it but for some reason it would loose connection to my bluetooth mouse. I thought it was because apple mouse and windows don't play along but I got a second bluetooth dongle from logitech that has bluetooth 4.0. Do not seem to have the drop out problem anymore.
Good signal strength, software installs quickly and is easy to use. On sale with the rebate it comes out pretty cheap and for sure worth the money.

I have this working with bother Win 7 home prem. 64bit, and at work on Win 7 Enterprise N 64bit.
my Samsung Galaxy S2 connects no problem. great range, they say 300m in open areas, well i get about 180-200 m away from my computer out in the yard, so that distance is through 3 wood and drywall walls, with the 3rd wall being an exterior with steel sheet metal siding and an aluminum garage door.

This is a good device for me, I don't really use it much. The single is pretty weak if it's placed behide the computer, I recommend putting it on a extension cord or a front USB port. This device is a bit wide, so it was hard to place it beside another USB plug.
Connecting to Bluetooth devices was easy enough. decent range. unobtrusive size means that it will not get in the way, but could be easy to lose should you remove it.

This little dongle is perfect for my laptop. For only $5 after rebate (which I got), this bluetooth module works wonders. I indicator for traffic or connectivity would of been nice to have but its still great.
