I hate to use the word perfect, because nothing ever truly is, however I have poked around this unit inside and out to try and find something I could criticise it for, but really, I could hardly find anything.

The Antec HCP 1200 is certainly a great unit. Compared to the Corsair AX1200 we just reviewed not too long ago, it's efficiency and ripple suppression are just as good. Voltage regulation is just a tad tighter on the AX-1200 and Corsair offers a 7 year warranty versus Antec's 5 year warranty

This power supply is one of the better psu's on the market. It handles my quad SLI setup with ease. Being semi modular is better than being non modular but I would have definitely would like it better if it was fully modular.

I upgraded from a Corsair and I'm glad I did. I wanted something a little beefier since I was thinking of going to tri-SLI, and this was on sale at the time. I've always been a big fan of Corsair so I was somewhat surprised when I saw the quality of the cabling on this unit being superior to that of my old Corsair unit. It has worked flawlessly, even through a couple major thunderstorms, one of which actually blew my 1500va UPS... Not even a hiccup. Nice and quiet too for such a powerful unit.

Installed this on the advice of a Tech Tips Youtube video and haven't had any issues. The modular cables are fantastic, everything reached in our massive case.
Works awesome couldn't ask for a better PSU for the money or for proformance either,would buy again,runs cool and quiet,All the power you would ever need.

I've always been a fan of Antecs high end power supplies and the 1200 continued my respect I have for Antec. This thing will power most anything you can throw at it. I had alot of hadware including a dual loop/triple rad setup running off it without a fuss or much heat generated. For me to give this a 5 star rating it would have to have a 120mm+ fan and be fully modular, other than that, this is the best multi-rail PSU money can buy IMO.
