This card is working perfectly for Maya and Mudbox (according to the person I built with this for). The only thing I should mention is that the fan gets quite loud, and my temps went upwards of 82c with the default settings. After a lot of tweaking, it runs much quieter when idle, and ramps up nicely to keep the temps below 75c (fan is quite loud when running this hard of course).
If you already have a Quadro FX1800 do not bother getting this as an upgrade; bite the bullet and go for the Quadro 4000. With this one, like the FX 1800, I was experiencing (what could be described as) zoom-lag in SolidWorks 2011 SP1.0; which appears to be software related as the "zoom-lag" subsides with SP3.0/4.0.
Please note: that this is still a good card for the intended job, if, you are doing small assemblies or not exceeding medium complexity part design, otherwise go Quadro 4000.

The mid-range professional card worth the price. I'm often working on 3d apps but I didn't want to pay the big price for getting professional graphic computations. This card does what it's aimed for pretty well. The new fermi processors rocks!
