With the 6000 series, XFX is literally putting you in the game. The AMD Radeon HD 6850 is 3-D ready and one of the first HDMI 1.4a and DisplayPort 1.2 solutions for Stereoscopic 3-D on the market.
The AMD Radeon HD 6850 ushers in a new era of gaming that takes users to an entirely new level. The AMD 3-D experience is truly immersive and seamless. AMD has also teamed up with other Open 3-D ecosystem partners to provide consumers with more choice, more innovation and lower cost.
This high-speed graphics card outdoes the competition with 775MHz, a 4 GHz memory clock, DP + HDMI + Dual DVI which allows for play across four screens and a shader speed of 800 to ensure that graphics are crisp and life-like.
Along with the new series XFX debuts the 3E Trilogy, incorporating AMD Eye-Definition (utilizing AMD’s HD3D technology & DirectX 11 for explosive performance and stunning effects), AMD Eyefinity (which supports multi-display gaming) and AMD Eyespeed (improves video image quality and application performance for amazing visuals) technologies.
The AMD Radeon HD 6850 offers no compromise performance with flawless image quality so users aren’t just playing the game – they’re in it.

A very good card. I have two operating in CrossfireX and haven't had a single problem thus far. I run them with an nVIDIA GTS 450 as a Dedicated PhysX card and all works well.

Great video card for modern gaming on high settings, the recommended graphics card for bf3 is a 6850 (reportedly) so this should last you awhile

Paired with a Phenom II X4 955, you've got a ~$600 gaming build that supports Bad Company 2 at the highest settings while still maintaining a very high FPS count. However, it looks like I'm having some issues with BBC2 when paired with this card. The game suffers of occasional intense lag and stuttering (FPS drops to 0) for few seconds. Google indicated this has to do with AMD's poor drivers. Quite a disappointment.

I got my 6850 last week, and it is serving me well. Maxing out modern games is no problem. XFX has great support and warranty. Only problem I had was that the fan would get very loud while playing graphically intensive games (Bad Company 2). Temps stayed at 60C under load, however. Overall great bang for the buck.

would recommend this card for everyone who wants a multi purpose eyefinity PC. you get a double lifetime warranty which is super great, if you want a radeon card, definitly go for XFX. Although the card runs quite loud, I'm happy with my purchase. There's always the possibility to reduce the fan speed if you want it quieter and don't mind gaining 3-4 degrees

I bought this 6850 instead of the 5850 because it is pretty much the same performance everywhere for a lower price Very light on wattage and still extremely powerful
I would recommand getting a good head set to cover your ears along with this card, even at idle and the fan speed at 50% it's sounds like a vacume cleaner, I now turn off my pc going to bed cus it sounds like it gonna blow up or something...
