WIll be using this drive in a network environment, using the usb connector of a Linksys router. Works as designed. Not too expensive, if bought on sale.

What can I say? It's a simple external hard drive that works perfectly fine. I've been using this drive to transfer some high-capacity movie files and it does so in mere moments - less than a minute for several gigabytes (one file). It's also a very quiet drive. It's hard to tell that it's turned on.

So far so good. Needed some extra storage, and decided it would be a good idea to have it portable. Chose this over the 2TB, simply due to the price. If I had a few extra bucks, I would have gone for the extra space, but overall, pretty happy.
best external hdd ive ever had. works amazing. great that it supports usb 3.0 and 2.0. luckily i bought it before the flooding and got it a good price. would highly recommend. fast transfers.
