I purchased 2 sticks (8 GB) almost 2 years ago. Deciding to upgrade to 16 GB I purchased 2 more sticks of the exact same Ram. Upon installing new ram started to have major system problems. Eventually as it turns out my system will work with either sets, but not with both. ALL settings same, model numbers, voltages, etc.. Bios looks happy. Boot problem after boot problem including BSOD's. Tried this ram with other ram of same V and frequency. Doesn't make a difference which sticks I use I can only EVER have 2 sticks of this ram in a machine ALONE. In the end I went with Corsair Ram for 16 GB without any issues. This RAM fails in every machine I put it in. I am extremely unhappy with it. I now have enough useless ram to make 2 8 GB machines but it'll never be 16.

I got this thing about mushkin for some reason. Maybe it's their nice-looking but low profile heatsinks. I have some other silver stuff in my server DDR2 for the past few years.

I've always been a avid fan of mushkin memory. Its rock solid, cheap, and attractive. I've been able to push budget friendly kits of mushkin memory farther in almost every area than I have with gaming grade kits from other companies (cough cough hyperX). If your looking for a champ that dosn't break the bank....go mushkin.

bought 4 stick of this to put in my new sandy bridge machine and i cant beleive how easy and simple it was, didnt have to set timings or anything at posted with all 4 stiucks in at once.
Bought this for a really good price, was a bit tricky to install with a Noctua NH-U12P SE2, because I installed the HS before the ram... This is a really good ram kit, 8GB 1600MHz.
