WOW, I am very impressed with this flash drive. The 25MB/s write speed claimed is exactly what I am getting on my Mac. Transferring 6.66GB of data to this flash drive took 6 minutes!
Fast reads and writes and at a good price. It works well as a system drive in a small Linux server or Linux desktop. Due to its low profile and fast writes, it works great as a dedicated internal flash drive.
This is the best flash drive I've ever purchased by far, strong read speeds and unmatched write speeds, I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a very fast flash drive.

Just got this today and thought I'd check out it's speed. Copied a folder with over 1100 pictures in it totaling around 4gb and got 18MB/s write speed. Quite impressive. Now lets hope it's as durable as my old 2gb Kingston (it survived going through the laundry 2x, living without it's cap for 2 years and then being left in a puddle of flux for a day - cleaned it up and it still works!). The downside of this flash drive is it's stubby fatness. Might have trouble fitting it in some tighter spaces.

I want something fast to use portable applications, and this one can load those program quickly. The read speed of 25megsec is good but the write speed is ahead of nearly any other usb key outthere.

All Patriot Memory "BOX OFFICE" products are offered with a two (2) year warranty.
**Note: Effective January 31, 2011, Patriot Memory will be adjusting the warranty period from 5-years to 2-years and from lifetime to 5-years on selected USB flash drives. Patriot Memory believes that the new warranty period better reflects current industry standards. Patriot Memory's AES security enabled Bolt USB flash drive has a 5-year warranty period will not be affected by this change.
