First things first- this drive is fast. It's advertised as having read/write speeds of 27/25 MB/s, and I've obtained these through both benchmarking and real-world file transfers. Admittedly, write speeds slow down a bit when copying many small files, but the quad-channel memory helps with this. In terms of durability, the soft-touch plastic and sliding design have kept it looking good and in one piece after a year of riding in my backpack. However, the thick body makes it tough to squeeze another device above or beside it.
Wished companies would stop advertising this drive design as having a retractable cap. It's more of a sliding sleeve which serves no purpose as the interface end is still exposed. Lint can still get inside.

Ran a benchmark on the drive, read speed 27 mb/s, write varies depending if you are writing one large file or a lot of small files, any where from 10mb/s to 20mb/s. Still much faster than standard USB drives.
I lost a Kingston 16 Gig drive, it was just too small.

I purchased this drive to help extend my Xbox 360 slim 4GB memory capacity...so far so good seems to transfer and runs very well however just wanted to note due to the "stubby" design you can only plug into one of the two front USB ports on Xbox 360 slim.

This USB flash drive has a nice stylish design, though it is a bit thick, that doesn't really bother me. The casing slides up over the connector to eliminate the need for a cap. Overall a good quality USB drive.

Bought this USB drive on sale for school work. It worked quite well so far, have been transferring large amounts of data on it. The retractable cap is quite handy, prevents you from losing the lid. Data transfer is fairly fast, although i didn't really verify the speed of transfer claimed by the manufacturer.

All Patriot Memory "CORZA", "GEARBOX", "VALKYRIE", "CONVOY", and "CONVOY XL" products are offered with a two (2) year warranty. All Patriot Memory "BOX OFFICE" products are offered with a two (2) year warranty.
**Note: Effective January 31, 2011, Patriot Memory will be adjusting the warranty period from 5-years to 2-years and from lifetime to 5-years on selected USB flash drives. Patriot Memory believes that the new warranty period better reflects current industry standards. Patriot Memory's AES security enabled Bolt USB flash drive has a 5-year warranty period will not be affected by this change.
