I paired this card with an MSI cyclone . I am running Skyrim at max settings with very smooth gameplay. This card is not as quiet as the cyclone, but still very good. All in all I'd say it was a good buy to go to dual card SLI.

In short, be realistic when it comes to upgrading parts. Spending a great deal of the budget on a super high end graphics card while still running on a regular hdd or an old processor, I don't think thats really the way to go. Having a balanced system is much more attractive than lets say an i7 3930k coupled with a 5450, it just doesn't make sense.

Overall I am pretty pleased with this card, I used it in a friend's build and must say I was surprised by how well it did in benchmarks compared to his old GTS450 card. For a hundred bucks after rebate you can't go wrong.

I use this card in SLI with another GTX 460 and they are very powerful, I play Battlefield Bad Company 2 at max settigns without any problems. Great buy!

It's a great video card! I have two in SLI mode and one on another computer as a stand alone video card. I like to stick with what works and these cards work. I can play Crisis2 in Extreme mode no problem at 1920x1080! For under a hundred bucks I don't think I'm going to find any better than that! I did try the GTX 550ti in sli mode but these actually do perform better and are cheaper.

This card rocks when used in SLI. I combined with the evga gtx 460 SC 768mb and it blows any game at ultra setting including Crysis, No lag at all. I paid $94 with the mail in rebate and it kicks the gtx 480 ass when used in SLI for 1/2 price.
