My main reason in getting this card was so that I can utilize my SSD 6GB/s, since my motherboard only has SATA 2. It took me some time to get it working properly. I went through several $40.00 cards, and all were crappy. I decided to take spend the money to get Sata 3.
The biggest issue I had was with 4 1TB hard drives, I benched speeds on raid 0 above 250MB/s, yet when I did a real world file copy test from another raid 0 supporting equal speed, it would drop to even 75MB/s. Don't freak out about that its a setting and firmware thing. Just get the new firmware for it as the stock is an early get SAS/SATA III port and needs a flash to support better performance optimization. THEN create your raid 0's. Also, you need to determine what stripe size you need for your application (larger for video files, smaller for OS typically). But then the catch, you also need to find out what your hard drive likes! Trial and error basically, unless you have already done this and figured that out lol.

Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject

video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
