Shipping software with a CD key only is an interesting idea. Physically shipping a box with a keyboard seems a little bit silly though. With fast internet I'd rather download and not bother with a physical CD. I believe the computer I installed this on came with a an Office 2010 trail and I could just enter this CD key to activate it.

So once you get your key go to www.office.com/backup and you can download the installer (2.5MB) with your LIVE ID to sign in. It's more of a silent installer, does not give you a progress report and auto opens a powerpoint slide to tell you about the basics of office 2010. Exit this new powerpoint window and everything should be installed automatically.
