it is the best word processor this is hands down, unfortunately its not accessible to everyone because of the hefty price tag but there really is no comparison , open office was what i used for the first little bit but i quickly got back into the groove when i purchased this and there is no comparison it is the best

Still the best office program suite available. Openoffice and other programs work for most things, but students / professionals will probably need a copy of this. Watch for academic / family deals though... I bought this for a customer, but got the pro version for myself for less than half the price...

I don't think you can go wrong with Office Home and Business Edition when this is a good value over the retail and OEM media included version. It doesn't take that long to download using broadband, and the installation process is super easy. It has all of the essentials that most people need, and frankly, when it goes on sale or in a surprise special like when I picked it up, it's great.
