Fractal Design "Silent Series" is a full range of silent case fans. The fans has been specifically developed to deliver sufficient airflow and still keep a low noise level. Available in sizes from 40mm up to 140mm.
Delivered with 4pcs of metal screws and 4pcs rubber screws. The electrical cable is covered with textile, to make it easier to work with.

Ordered one a few months back to add to my Arc Midi case. All the Pros and Cons have been pretty much covered by previous reviewers so I wouldn't go into them. What I want to mention is the missing rubber screws that are supposed to come with the package. NCIX was nice enough to let me RMA it to see if the next one came with rubber fasterners which it didn't. Had to contact folks at Fractal Design and they sent them to me in a timely manner (excellent customer service btw; all inquiries answered within 1 business day). So now at $7.99, I ordered 2 more and will pick up soon and see if they are still missing the rubber screws :(

Instillation was easy, they are able to push a lot of air even when not running at 100%. I had them running at low speeds and they were very quiet. They remained fairly quiet even at high temperatures. They look good with my r3 define black case.

It's really quiet as announced. It provides a good airflow, not the best but considering the level of noise it's good and it helped me to get rid of a noisy set of fans used to cool my video card. I'd recommend it.

I installed two of these in my Corsair case and I've experienced no noticable increase in sound levels. The airflow is not the highest, but that's to be expected at 600rpm and 9db.

I use these fans in my Fractal Define R3 and they do the job nicely. Right now I have some older fans that are rated at much higher CFM but that comes at the price of being really loud. These Fractal fans are barley audible.
This is a decent fan without the annoying LED lights (if you are like me and don't care about case bling). The rubber fasteners are a good idea, but of the two extra FD fans I bought, one came with 3 of 4 rubber fasteners, and the other fan didn't come with any! That pissed me off, but the two fans weren't be mounted by screws/fasteners anyways.
