Round frame with 120mm mounting holes Using a round frame with the same hole-spacing as common 120mm fans and producing more airflow due to its larger diameter, the NF-P14 is a perfect upgrade for 120mm CPU or case fans. Thanks to the supplied adaptors, the NF-P14 also fits common 140mm mounting holes.
Metal Reinforcements: Both the impeller hub and the bearing shell of the NF-P14 are metal reinforced in order to achieve ultimate manufacturing precision, high durability and vibration-free running.

This model is more for a 120mm slot. It has metal extensions for 140mm slots, they will vibrate and make annoying sounds. I'm not sure why Noctua decided to do this.
this is excellent fan, very quiet, does its job, and comes with mounting hardware and can be either 120mm or 140mm fan, i only wish it looks a little better

Color way a bit ugly but hey well built,low noise, high efficiency. So good I bought a set of two of these. if your thinking of getting the 120mm fans don't, get these! FITS 120mm fan slots!!!

I'm extremely pleased with the performance of these fans. After purchasing 4 of these fans for my Corsair 500R Case. The inside temps have dropped by 11C.
It works well, and is very quiet, as long as you keep the speed down at it's lowest setting. AT medium, or high, it is fairly loud. I guess the volume of air it pushes might be more than other fans, but it is about the same noise level as my previous fans, and those did not as much.
This is a great 140mm fan. It is meant more for silent operation that for mass air flow and does it's job well. With the included adapters you can choose between 3 different RPMs.

Overall it's certainly a good fan, I'm not entirely sure if it's worth the premium price since there is quite a lot of competition in silent fans and I have had a few good ones.
