This is the newest innovation in computer case lighting, the Meteor Light. The Meteor Light is 12 led's enclosed in two 12" lighting tubes. The light comes with a several different speed settings and lights up extremely brightly.

The Meteor Light is an LED light system encased in a CCFL style form factor. An 11.8 inch acrylic tube holds 12 bright LEDs. A PCI slot bracket supplies an on/off switch, and a toggle button to cycle through 8 different preset lighting patterns.

I love them, they have feel from heights of a couple of feet before, although I would recommend using duct tape or difference velcro. Pro tip is to hide the inverter in the 5.25 bay, and run the wires through a screw hole.

These things have potential, but are killed by a couple flaws. As mentioned below, they have a bunch of different patterns to go through, which is cool, but it resets every time you reboot. That wouldn't be bad except that the default pattern scrolls through all the other ones, and some of the patterns are pretty obnoxious. If the default was set to be just straight up on, it'd be much much nicer. As is, they hardly get used. Also, the pattern button is too big to fit through the back panel slots without some hack and slashing...

Once your computer is reset or powered back on the lighting setting resets to an annoying random pattern. I have to press the button on the expansion card at the back of the computer 8 times to get it to stay at a constant lit setting. Therefore I hardly ever use them.

i would recommend these lights to anyone who wants to set off the awesomeness of a windowed case, or the inside of their car. the lights are bright, and the multiple modes of lighting are just awesome.

Awesome little add-on light for any case with a window. Does exactly what I wanted/needed. Has control to turn light on/off while the pattern resets when the computer is turned off. Cheap when pm.
