The Corsair Professional HX650W modular power supply delivers 650 Watts of clean, continuous power. Flat, low-profile modular cables allow for easy cable routing and increased airflow. The high-efficiency design reduces electricity usage and minimizes heat generation.
The Corsair Professional HX650W is ideal for performance enthusiasts for whom consistent delivery of rated power output is essential. It delivers continuous rated power at ambient temperatures of up to 50° C. An intelligent fan speed system regulates the ultra-quiet 120mm double ball bearing fan. 105° C rated industrial-grade capacitors provide uncompromised performance and reliability. It’s fully compatible with the ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 standards and backward compatible with ATX12V 2.01 systems.
* Tested at room temperature, using a 50% load and 230V AC input.

I bought this and gave my Corsair VX550 to my son when his PSU died. I am quite happy with Corsair product quality.
This is my first modular PSU, and I am glad I went modular. The flat power cables are a bit odd as I wasn't used to them. But they worked out great.

Another quality PSU from Corsair. This is the second HX series PSU I've bought from Corsair and I never regret a second of it. From the packaging, down to the cables, the shell of the PSU, to the actual performance. This PSU is just extremely well built and is quality top to bottom.

Buy with confidence. This is a quality power supply. Would say price might be a smidge high, but i got it on sale (~$90) so keep an eye out for a good price. Other than that, a great buy!

Bought it for $90 (what a steal). I don't really see a difference between being able to remove the cpu and mobo cables and not. It's not like anybody doesn't need those two. Anyways, the power supply was super easy to setup.
works good less wires to clutter the system has black cables the psu itself is black and blue wich is pretty nice compared to my old gray one.

Looks great inside my 600T (White), mounted directly beneath my ASUS Sabertooth Z77 mobo. Comes with many cables. Good cable length. Accessories packaged in nylon velcro bag (very nice touch). 7-year warranty (wow!).

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the 3 year warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
