The TL-WN861N Wireless N Mini PCI Adapter complies with IEEE 802.11n (Draft 2.0), IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11b standards. Wireless transmission rates can reach up to 300Mbps. The Mini PCI card adopts 2*2 MIMO technology providing even better wireless performance, transmission rates, stability and coverage. At the same time, CCA technology automatically avoids channel conflicts using its channel selection feature. This product supports 64/128/152-bit WEP encryptions, as well as WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryptions and mechanisms in addition to the adapter´s QSS (Quick Secure Setup) feature, allowing users to quickly and easily configure wireless security. This product can also simultaneously operate bandwidth intensive applications such as voice and video. Applications using a lot of bandwidth that are sensitive to interruptions such as voice and video applications are given priority in order to assure quality. It also works well with other 11g and 11n protocol wireless products.

Was looking for a 2T2R mini PCI 802.11n for my old Toshiba A60 and this is the only one I can find. There isn't much to describe. Just install the card, let windows install the driver and ready to go. It has a consistent throughput 60Mbps which isn't bad, but not that fast for a 300n which can go up to 100Mbps according to my other notebook. Still, it's quite a jump from wireless G 20Mbps.

Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject
to current availability) within 30 days of the Invoice date. Software,
video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
of NCIX.com.
