Messages about Thermaltake Element T Mid Tower ATX Case Black 3X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT Front USB HD Audio No PSU
PureOverclock.com review: The Thermaltake Element T is a rather straightforward case, offering nice aesthetics, handy features and a rather roomy interior, a quiet setup, and an attractive price tag.

It's a decent little tower case bus is let down by a few details that some users might find annoying. Firstly, they have used some decent dust filters on the front panel, but the side panel and the psu intake are just grills, and so plenty of hair and dust gets sucked into the case. I needed to make some diy modifications to get this pollution to an acceptable level. Noise levels are alright, but expect it to be quite loud when you have filled the case with fans. Space is decent, although a little more room between the mobo and the psu would be appreciated. I have gigabyte x58a-ud3r and i cannot use the bottom PCIe slot, therefore I do not recommend this case to users wanting to run sli, unless they're willing to choose a mobo that accomodates this a little better in this case.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this case. I like the look, and the placement of the external USB and power buttons. I do not like the metal on metal contact everywhere in this case. This case is prone to scratching your equipment if you do not overview it carefully and plan ahead. I reccomend taping the sharp edges with electrical tape for the budget user, or rockerguard for those more bold and with more time.
Average Thermal Take case, no real thrills. Bottom mounted power supply, only problem the supply rests on metal. Would be nice to see some rubber pads added to reduce vibration, and risk scratching a power supply.
the look of the case is awesome, not too crowded, love the top exaust LED fan, no need screw drive for open case door and all drives access, price with $20 rebate only pay $39.99 + tax, no where you can compare with, love it!

I've had this case for about 7 months now and it's been good to me. There's plenty of space in this case. Everything, including my gtx 280, fits perfectly fine with the exception of moving a couple of my HDDs to fit my very long gtx 280.
I really wish Thermaltake would sell some of the fans that it states the case could use as I cannot find a 230mm for sale anywhere! The red LED for the top fan gets annoying but I've re-positioned my computer so it doesn't bother me anymore.

I was looking for a case to replace my aging Antec server case which was bought 8 years ago. I have 3 DVD-ROM and 4 hard drives so I have to decide on something bigger but I don't want to spend more than $100, the Cooler Master 690 was my 1st choice but it is slightly out of my budget...when I saw this on display and compared to two other cases that I was considering...CM 590 and Antec 300, I decided on this one since it will be 70 bucks after taxes and rebates and the size and build quality is slightly better than the above 2 plus I need the interior space that the Element T offered as compared to the 590 and 300.
